The problem of marine environmental pollution is becoming increasingly serious.
We hope that through this project, students can understand the problems of marine pollution and conservation along New Taipei Citys coastline, and try to come up with solutions using artificial intelligence technology and virtual reality.
Furthermore, due to the lack of educational resources in the north coast area, there are insufficient local employment opportunities and low industrial diversity.
Therefore, how to strengthen and upgrade rural education is also the focus of the implementation of this plan.
The specific plan objectives are as follows:(1) Introduce ocean-related knowledge from multiple perspectives, and use digital art technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality to understand ocean science, ecology, and culture in an interactive and educational way.(2) Connect communities and schools, interact with local children, and learn the essence of practice through experience and exploration, allowing children to have a deeper understanding of the place where they live.(3) Focus on the unique local elements for industrial redevelopment and sustainable planning, so that the North Coast can generate a new energy of cultural creativity and activate local creation.Through the Moana AR experience of Taipei University of Marine Science and Technology, the public can experience interactive digital technology with virtual marine life, promoting key points and strategies:(1) On-the-spot visits to North Coast primary and secondary schools, local organizations and local industries to conduct inventory of issues.(2) Integrate marine pollution and conservation, sustainable marine environment issues, and design course content related to local care/talent cultivation/industrial linkage.(3) Combine digital art, AI artificial intelligence, and interactive technology to plan marketing consultation and services for digital technology applications on the North Coast to activate local creation.(4) Integration of topics: Aiming at aesthetic education, creative development and local marine environment conservation, the teaching design should correspond to the theme learning focus, core competencies and learning content of marine education, and the topics of marine pollution and conservation should be integrated into it and related to Link to other areas to plan teaching activities.(5) Local care: Set up a studio to cooperate with local businesses, integrate school resources, service teams and external resources into on-site practice, allowing students to learn and grow together with local communities and community associations, and help drive local industries develop.(6) Talent cultivation: Through "professional courses", "practical courses" and "industry-university workshops", marine education is integrated into diversified new media interactive technology applications such as virtual and real integration, metaverse, AI artificial intelligence, etc.
